極楽寺のおもてなしと日本の文化を体験させていただき、誠にありがとうございました。
日本の仏教と文化について色々勉強できて本当に嬉しかったです。
特に、普段なかなか体験できないお坊さんのお料理をご馳走になって、とてもよかったです。
また、お花火大会、大変エキサイティングでした。良いシートまで、準備していただいて、本当にびっくりしました！
やはり、皆様との楽しい会話と活動で、時間が経つのがあっという間に感じられました。

私は名古屋大学大学院環境学研究科に通っているスナルヨ・ティルトです。
出身地はインドネシアです。現在はナノ粒子を活かした環境汚染対策方法を研究しています。
極楽寺に最初にお伺いしたときには「お坊さんはどちらかな」と思っていましたが、自分の目の前に立った優しそうなお兄さんがお坊さんでビックリしました。
一日目は笹の飾りを作り願い事を書いたり、瞑想体験したり、図書館で織田信長の展示を見たり、長良川のは花火を見たりしました。非常に楽しかったです。花火の帰りには偶然にも岐阜大学の方と一緒になり、友だちになることができました。人生、たまたまが大切だと思います。楽しい一日でした。二日目には茶道の体験や、お坊さんのお盆のお祈りや読経の体験をし、楽しく過ごしました。お寺でゆっくりとしたいなら、極楽寺にいくことを本当にお勧めします。ありがとうございました。

私は、スリン・シムと申します。名古屋大学の法学研究科修士課程2年生です。専門は労働法でおり、日本法と比較しならがらカンボジアにおける労働災害の認定基準を中心として研究しています。10月から博士課程に入学します。
ASEAN-NAGOYA CLUBのおかげで、岐阜市に所在する極楽寺に泊まることができました。極楽寺に着いて、山田さんのご家族の皆さんが温かい心を歓迎していただきました。笹に飾る願いことを書いたことがありますが、飾るものを使ったことがなかったです。初めて自分で切って自分で飾りました。「よっしゃ」な気持ちでした。坐禅の体験は10分ほどでしたが、なかなか集中できませんでした。簡単なものではないと実感しました。そして、図書館にある信長キャラリーを見学しました。信長の宮殿は、現在に全体の形が残っていませんが、ビデオでその形をみて、山にある大きな石をたくさん使った、すごい宮殿であるとわかりました。
一番記憶残っているのは、花火大会です。いいスポットを取るために、何日も前に場所を確保していただいたことに対して、自分は恥ずかしいくらいの感謝気持ちでした。花火が顔にぶつかるくらいはっきり見えました。すごく感動しました。料理も美味しかったです。ところ天も美味しかったです。

名古屋大学大学院法学研究科の博士課程1年生、チンケット・メターです。大学では、行政法の分野で「カンボジアにおける行政紛争処理制度」について研究しております。この勉強に加えて、AASEAN-NAGOYA CLUBに入って、日本の文化・ビジネス等他の分野を知る機会をいただいており、その一環として、法東山極楽寺でお泊まりし、花火大会、茶道、座禅、お経、仏教の儀式などという日本の文化を体験させていただきました。お泊まりの間、お寺の方々のフレンドリネスと優しさに感動いたしました。人見知りの私でも楽しく過ごせました。とくに、お寺の方々に、花火を見るためのいいスポットを確保し、別のお寺での儀式まで見学させていただきました。茶道の体験では、日本人のお気づかい、無駄のないかしこさは昔からあることを実感できました。また、座禅、お経の体験、儀式の見学に加え、日本のお寺と仏教等についてのおはなしができて、いろいろ勉強になりました。花火大会を除けば、すべての体験がはじめてでしたので、これからもこれらを含めて日本のことをもっと知りたくなりました。

名古屋大学大学院法学研究科の修士課程1年のミアン・ピッチダビナーと申します。専門は憲法で、「カンボジアにおける憲法院の違憲審査制」についてフランスと日本と比較して研究をしております。私はASEAN-NAGOYA CLUBのメンバーではありませんが、いつも先輩からASEAN-NAGOYA CLUBの話を伺ってぜひお会いしていろいろなイベントやプログラムに参加したいな〜とずっと思っていました。おかげさまでやっとASEAN-NAGOYA CLUBのみなさまとお会いして、一緒に楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
また、法東山極楽寺で泊まらせていただき、素晴らしい花火大会、茶道、座禅、お経、仏教の儀式、美味しいお坊さんのご飯などという日本文化を体験させていただき、嬉しくて感謝しております。
極楽寺のお坊さんをはじめ、皆様は笑顔でいいおもてなしをしてくださって、お寺ではなく自分の家みたいと感じました。
機会があればまた遊びに行ってカンボジア料理会をしたいと思います。改めて今回の楽しいイベントに参加させていただき、誠に有り難うございました。

37th Regular Meeting / Summer Special Meeting in “Gokurakuji” in Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture.

From August 5th to 6th, we held a special summer meeting of ASEAN-NAGOYA CLUB and visited Gokurakuji in Gifu City , Gifu Prefecture

We were able to learn the spirit of Japanese hospitality through the opportunity to discover the temples and join in the tea ceremony. We thanked everyone who participated.

I’m Chhorida, an international student from the Graduate School of Law, Nagoya University, from Cambodia. Thank you for experiencing the hospitality of Gokurakuji and Japanese culture.

I was really happy to learn a lot about Japanese Buddhism and Japanese culture. In particular, I was very happy to try eating monk’s food that I can’t usually experience. Also, the fireworks display was very exciting. After all, the fun conversations and activities with everyone made me feel that time passed quickly.
It’s been a happy and unforgettable two days. Thank you again.
Let’s meet again and cook Cambodian food to experience each other’s culture. Then, please take care of yourself during the hot season.

I’m Sunaryo Tirto, the graduate student of the Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Nagoya University. I’m from Indonesia. Currently, I am researching environmental pollution control methods that utilize nanoparticles.
When I first visited Gokurakuji, I was wondering which one was the monk, but the kind-looking brother who stood in front of me was surprised at the monk. On the first day, I made bamboo decorations, wrote wishes, experienced meditation, saw Nobunaga Oda’s exhibition at the library, and saw fireworks on the Nagara River. It was a lot of fun. On the way back from the fireworks, I happened to be with a person from Gifu University and made friends. I think life is important by chance. It was nice day. On the second day, I enjoyed the tea ceremony, the Buddhist monk’s Obon festival, and the sutra chanting experience. If you want to relax at the temple, I really recommend going to Gokurakuji. Thank you very much.

My name is Sreang Sim. I am a second year of master student at the Graduate School of Law, Nagoya University. My specialty is labor law, and I am studying mainly on the criteria for certifying occupational accidents in Cambodia while comparing it with Japanese law. I will enroll in the doctoral program from October.

Thanks to ASEAN-NAGOYA CLUB, I was able to stay at Gokurakuji Temple in Gifu City. Upon arriving at Gokurakuji, Mr. Yamada’s family welcomed us with his warm heart. I have written a wish to decorate bamboo grass, but I have never used anything to decorate. I cut it myself for the first time and decorated it myself. The experience of Zazen was about 10 minutes, but I couldn’t concentrate easily. I realized that it was not easy. Then, I visited the Nobunaga character in the library. Nobunaga’s palace does not have the whole shape at present, but I saw it in the video and found that it was a great palace with many large stones on the mountain.
The most memorable thing is the fireworks display. I could see the fireworks clearly, I was so impressed. The food was also delicious. Tokoroten was also delicious.

I’m Chinket Metta, a first-year doctoral student at the Graduate School of Law, Nagoya University. At the university, we are studying “administrative dispute resolution system in Cambodia” in the field of administrative law. In addition to this study, I have had the opportunity to join AASEAN-NAGOYA CLUB and learn about other fields such as Japanese culture and business. As part of that, I stayed at Hotoyama Gokurakuji Temple, fireworks display, tea ceremony, zazen, etc. I experienced Japanese culture such as meditation and Buddhist rituals. During my stay, I was impressed by the friendliness and kindness of the people at the temple. Even I, a shy person, had a good time. In particular, we secured a good spot for the people of the temple to see the fireworks, and even visited the ceremony at another temple. Through the experience of the tea ceremony, I was able to realize that the Japanese people have been aware of it and have a skill for a long time. In addition to zazen, sutra experience, and ritual tours, I was able to talk about Japanese temples and Buddhism, and I learned a lot. Except for the fireworks display, all the experiences were new to me, so I wanted to know more about Japan, including these.

My name is Mean Pichdabina, and I am a first year of master student at the Graduate School of Law, Nagoya University. My specialty is Constitutional law, and I am conducting research on the “constitutional review system of the Constitutional Court in Cambodia” in comparison with France and Japan. I’m not a member of ASEAN-NAGOYA CLUB, but I’ve always wanted to hear from my seniors about ASEAN-NAGOYA CLUB and meet them and participate in various events and programs. Thanks to you, I finally met the people of ASEAN-NAGOYA CLUB and had a good time together.

Also, I am grateful to have stayed at Hotoyama Gokurakuji Temple and experienced Japanese culture such as wonderful fireworks display, tea ceremony, meditation, sutras, Buddhist rituals, and delicious monk’s rice. Everyone, including the Buddhist priest at Gokurakuji, gave me good hospitality with a smile, and I felt like my own house, not a temple. If I have a chance, I would like to go back and have a Cambodian cooking party. Thank you for participating in this fun event again. Have a nice summer vacation!

My name is Sarabas and I am From Cambodia to the Graduate School of International Development, Nagoya University.
From August 5th to 6th, I visited Gokurakuji Temple, which is about an hour away from Nagoya, as a trip hosted by ASEAN-NAGOYA CLUB. I learned the difference from Buddhism in our country by listening to the wonderful scenery and buildings of this temple and the story of the chief priest.

I enjoyed the fireworks display as much as the other members, but I was really surprised by the crowd and congestion. That night, I stayed at the main hall of the temple for the first time in my life. It was very moving to sleep near the principal image. The next day I got up early and prayed in the morning. This prayer was also a little different from Buddhism in our country. After that, I visited a nearby temple and visited the Obon festival.
I would like to thank Gokurakuji for giving me the opportunity to learn about cultural differences and for healing the tiredness of my usual studies.
